CARE INSTRUCTIONS

An artisan lovingly makes every item in our collection. From their hands to yours, here’s our guide to keeping your pieces looking stunning for years to come.

WOOD

Care for your wood items by cleaning with a dry or damp soft cloth. Polish with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaners that can damage the finish. Keep wood pieces in a temperature-controlled environment, as major changes in temperature or humidity can cause the wood to crack.

HORN

Hand wash your horn items, using tepid water and gentle soap. Never soak horn items in water and avoid chemicals, strong detergents, and abrasive cleaning materials or scrubbers, as it may damage the finish. Towel dry immediately.

From time to time your horn items will benefit from a little extra care. Using a soft cloth with a small amount of vegetable oil, wipe over the item in the direction of the grain. Buff using a soft lint-free cloth – this will restore luster and preserve the natural beauty of the horn.

LEATHER

To prevent leather from drying out, cracking or fading unevenly, keep your leather items out of direct heat or sunlight. When the leather feels dry, treat it with a leather conditioner for vegetable tanned leather. Test on a hidden surface first.

COTTON

All of our cotton is machine washable and color-safe. Tumble dry on low.
